My process usually begins with scent memory - a place I’ve been, a fleeting moment in nature, or even a story I want to tell. From there, I blend fragrances until the feeling is just right. Each candle is an experiment in balance: grounding notes that anchor, layered with lighter or unexpected accords that add depth and intrigue. I love that it’s both intuitive and precise and such a unique way to express creativity.

Nature is at the heart of everything I make. Lost Sage is centered around the wild, untamed beauty of forests, deserts, and coastlines. Travel, storytelling, and even nostalgia also shape my blends. Over the years, I’ve learned to embrace simplicity and let the scents speak for themselves, pairing them with clean, thoughtful design so they feel timeless in any space.

Lost Sage began as a small personal project! It was a way for me to bottle the feelings of places I loved and bring them into everyday life, and a way to enjoy clean burning candles that are delicate enough for my super sensitive self. What started at my kitchen table grew organically as friends, family, and eventually shops began asking for more. Years later, I’m still just as inspired by that original idea: crafting scents that spark memory, connection, and a little bit of everyday ritual.
